Job description

  • Monday through Friday!

    Start Date ASAP!

    8am-4pm Hybrid

    Looking for an insurance follow up rockstar to join our team!

  • Follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable for all payers
  • Research and resolve accounts appearing on outstanding insurance A/R report
  • Respond to patient calls/questions regarding their accounts
  • Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of the management team
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of EMR and electronic systems as they relate to job function

What we're looking for in a Insurance Follow Up Specialist:

  • Healthcare and/or insurance billing, processing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with health insurance web portals
  • Knowledge of the healthcare insurance/billing follow up process
  • Display strong data entry and technology skills
  • Must be able to multitask and be dependable
  • Experience with insurance and out-of-pocket patient responsibility preferred
  • High comfort level with medical terminology and financial conversations
  • Strong communication skills: verbal/written, listening, and building rapport
  • Excellent skills in ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Excellent skills in typical office applications, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
