Job description

Insurance Collections Representative



Tempe, AZ (Fully Onsite)




  • Uphold, teach, and enforce core values
  • Supervise daily billing and collections activities to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Training and mentoring of the teammates on billing and collection standards/procedures
  • Supervise accounts receivables and maintain assigned portfolios at acceptable levels
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure that charges are billed appropriately, and reimbursements are pursued until full payment is received
  • Run regular A/R aging reports and maintain logs essential to ensure A/R balances are collected and resolved timely
  • Review billing error reports to ensure errors are resolved on a timely basis, including root cause analysis and solutions
  • Responsible for escalation management of delinquent accounts with payers
  • Review and manage payer credits in timely manner
  • Monitor and complete enrollment and payer portals as needed to ensure timely billing
  • Ensure that that company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Monitor, analyze and manage changes related to billing regulations/requirements. Communicate the impact of these changes to our clients. Train and educate the team on any such changes
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

Pay Range: $18-$25/HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Tempe, AZ

Interview Process: Virtual Or Onsite Interviews

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of AR experience
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance billing and authorizations
  • Proficient in Excel

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Bilingual
  • Associates Or Bachelors Degree
  • Athena or NextGen EMR Experience
