Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $22 - $24 per hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire


We seeking a versatile Insurance Billing Specialist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. The main focus of this role is on billing, primarily working with PPOs, but will also involve various office administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing medical billing and charge entry for both cash and insurance-based patients.
  • Reviewing, sorting, and filing incoming mail.
  • Assisting with administrative duties as assigned
  • Supporting management with daily tasks as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct charge entry based on paper encounters for each site.
  • Sort and batch patient and insurance payments.
  • Post charges and manage accounts receivable.
  • File batches to be sent to EMR systems.
  • Review, sort, and scan documents received per payer.
  • Support management with daily administrative duties as needed.


  • Experience with billing and insurance, specifically PPOs, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to handle both billing and administrative duties.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic office environment.
