A Regional Cancer Center in Auburn, WA is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

A regional cancer center in Auburn is looking for an LPN to support their operations. This clinic offers both patients visits and infusion services. The LPN stepping into this role will work on the provider side and support the clinic functions

  • LPNs operate on the provider side, responsible for watching patients checking in, gravitating to the front office and walking them to the back room. Very high volume, may see up to 30 patients in a given shift
  • Conducting medication reviews and assessment with patients and communicating any anomalies to the responsible provider.
  • Scheduling and confirming follow up appointments with patients
  • Processing injection orders from providers and administering injections if needed.
  • Confirm and schedule follow up appointments
  • LPNs will be responsible for communicating directly with the infusion side of the clinic and helping transition patients
  • Sanitizing rooms after patients have been roomed, restocking and providing our clinical support to operations
  • 1:1 relationship with a provider in a given shift

Requirements:

  • Tenure in previous roles
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
  • LPN Certification through the Washington State DOH
  • 2+ years of experience within an inpatient space or with infusions and with IV placements

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous Oncology Experience
  • Epic Experience

Schedule/Shift:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Contract Length:

700 hours.. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay:

$30 - $45 (Dependant on experience)
