Job description

ICU Registered Nurse Position

Position Overview: The ICU Registered Nurse provides professional and technical skills to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of Adolescent, Adult, and Elderly patients. This role supports the hospital's mission through distinctive and compassionate care.

Qualifications:

  • Current California RN license
  • Current BLS for healthcare providers upon hire
  • CPI certification and ACLS card within 30 days of employment (will be certified at orientation)
  • One-year previous clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facility preferred
  • Excellent assessment skills, knowledge of ventilators, hemodynamics, vasopressor drips, and EKG monitoring
  • Ability to provide care appropriate to the age group served on the unit, with knowledge of growth and development over the life span
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Schedule/Shift

  • 7:30 - 7:30
  • 3x12s
  • Set every 6 weeks for the next 6 weeks
  • They're open to either an AM or PM right now.
