Monday - Friday, 1st Shift 7AM to 3:30PM

Pay: $31.25-$40/HR

Duration: DIRECT HIRE

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma plus 5 years of HVAC experience with equipment listed under Responsibilities.
  • 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech facility.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical fundamentals, troubleshooting, and safety.
  • Proficiency in using tools, meters, and other devices common to the HVAC industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and cGDP requirements and procedures, including documentation of work performed and maintaining clean work areas.
  • Ability to work in varying climates, heights, tight spaces, and temperatures.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call program for after-hours, weekend, and holiday alarm/emergency response.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex HVAC issues on equipment such as air handlers, rooftop units, water and steam boilers, fan coil units, cooling towers, energy recovery loops, and associated devices (valves, actuators, dampers, coils, etc.).
  • Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Provide routine building maintenance support including carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, general cleaning, and office setup.
  • Identify and assess maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilize the Building Management System to monitor equipment health and operation, including alarm management and mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records.
  • Train junior technicians and share knowledge and experience.
  • Continuously evaluate safety compliance for self, others, and equipment.
  • Use computerized maintenance management software to track, log, and complete maintenance tasks, including documentation of vendor service reports.
  • Act as the point of contact for vendors and outside contractors for warranty work, corrective maintenance, and projects.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of critical, consumable, and general spare parts.
  • Participate in an on-call program for after-hours, weekend, and holiday alarm/emergency response.
  • Adhere strictly to EH&S guidelines and policies to ensure safe operation of equipment and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality protocols and SOPs, including cGMP and FDA regulatory guidelines, within areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain all mandatory training requirements, ensuring compliance with site procedures and job performance qualifications.
  • Pursue continuous improvement in job knowledge, technical understanding, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
