Job description

MUST RESIDE IN MONTEREY COUNTY, CA

Medix is looking to hire a Remote Operations Manager to join a growing care management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a staff of 15 across Merced, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey County.
  • Ensure compliance with organization's policies and expectations.
  • Perform weekly audits of employee performance and KPIs, provide guidance and coaching to improve metrics, when necessary.
  • Review and monitor expenses, identifying cost-saving measures to maintain financial sustainability.
  • Ensuring adherence to all applicable healthcare regulations and standards, including patient privacy laws and quality control protocols.
  • Work closely with the management team to align on company-wide goals and participate in action planning.
  • Generating reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and presenting findings to leadership.
  • Provide ongoing support to staff in resolving challenges and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team meetings and new staff training.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of CalAIM program or FQHC operations to contribute to the organization's success.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Social Work or Public Health
  • MUST reside in Merced, CA
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a team
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Prior experience with CalAIM, FQHC, or underserved populations

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00 pm

Starting pay:

$70,000+ annual salary
