Medix is currently seeking a Healthcare Claims Analytics Engineer for a consulting opportunity with one of our top clients - a Professional Healthcare Analytics Services organization.

This role is available on a fully remote basis in the US, CST hours, no travel.

Our client partners with health insurance organizations and healthcare providers to provide meaningful business intelligence surrounding Healthcare Claims processing.

This role will be partnering with both internal stakeholders and external clients to build a custom Healthcare Claims dashboard in Power BI. This is a client facing role that requires strong communication skills, combined with industry expertise in the Healthcare Claims space. Strong hands-on experience with Data Modeling in the cloud - specifically using DBT or Databricks - is required in order to build custom data models for end-clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with an in-depth subject matter expertise in Healthcare Claims data (Trizetto QNXT, Tebra/Kareo, etc)
• Partnering with internal stakeholders and external clients to capture and analyze the requirements for custom Healthcare Claims reporting
• Using SQL and Python to analyze, select and query data
• Conducting data modeling, curation and transformation of the data against business requirements, using Databricks or DBT, or similar transformational tools
• Building out custom Power BI Dashboards to visualize Healthcare Claims data

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• Required 7-10+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of recent consistent experience in Healthcare Claims data
• Expertise with T-SQL / SQL / Python for data analysis
• Experience with Databricks or DBT for data transformation / data modeling
• Experience with building Power BI Dashboards - DAX expressions
