CMA / Phlebotomist / Paramedic / LPN / RN - Health Risk Assessment Specialist

Location: Wilmington, NC
Employment Type: Contract (March - June) with potential for extension
Schedule: Flexible; Full-time or Part-time options available



Job Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), Paramedic, or Phlebotomist to assist with Health Risk Assessments (HRAs). This is a contract role running from March 1st through June 21st with opportunities for continued employment upon project completion.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient intake, including recording height, weight, and blood pressure.
  • Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles for cholesterol, A1C, and hemoglobin testing.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
  • Work alongside a provider and CMA in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Active CMA, Phlebotomy, Paramedic, LPN, or RN license required.
  • BLS certification (or CPR certification through AHA) required.
  • Prior phlebotomy experience preferred-candidates must be comfortable with blood draws.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly NextGen, is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.


Schedule & Compensation:

  • Flexible scheduling-full-time, part-time, and PRN options available.
  • Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM; Fridays (half-day in the morning).
  • Competitive pay based on licensure and experience:
    • CMA / Phlebotomist: $15.00 - $22.55/hr
    • LPN / Paramedic: $17.20 - $27.03/hr
    • RN: $22.97 - $35.81/hr
