Job description

Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative

Location: Remote but must be local to NYC ***do not apply if you are not in the NY area

CM Support Coordinators work in tandem with another CMSC and the Care Manager to do assessments and compliance checks of their members. Will be on the phones 80% of the time and have a metric of 10 member conversations a day. These phone calls typically are around 10-15 minutes and consist of an assessment, education and link to member, and documentation. They will escalate any calls up to the clinician that require clinical intervention (falls etc.) after gathering the necessary information.

They are looking for people with strong interpersonal and communication skills who are very comfortable on the phone and want to work with frail members in the community. Must have great time management skills and a problem solving attitude as well as customer service skills.

They are open to people with health plan backgrounds, provider customer service and medical scheduling backgrounds.

It is preferred to know Medicaid and Medicare and/or are bilingual, but that is a nice to have. These talent need to be looking for steady jobs. They are also looking for talent in the New York City area because they may ask them to come in for additional training if needed or for other group roles (will be given a 1 month notice).

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (36.25 hours a week-breaks unpaid).

Pay: $21/hr DOE
