Job description

HIRING FOR HEAD CHEF ROLE IN MANHATTAN
Specific Duties:

  • Supervise and manage all food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Prepare approximately 1,000 meals daily.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation standards.
  • Keep the kitchen and cooking utensils clean and well-maintained.
  • Support dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment as required.
  • Ensure adherence to cooking guidelines and timely meal preparation.
  • Order necessary equipment and ingredients based on inventory needs.
  • Accurately label and date packaged meals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to kitchen staff.
  • Perform any additional tasks as needed in the kitchen.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30am-2:30pm
Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Head Chef/Kitchen Manager experience
  • Experience preparing meals on a large scale
  • NYS Food Protection Certification
