ABOUT OUT CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a Procurement & Manufacturing Planning Consultant for a contract opportunity with one of Manufacturing clients based in Schaumburg. Our client is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations, and they are seeking someone who can assist with day-to-day procurement / vendor / planning activities, as well as recommend efficiency for configuring the Dynamics system.

We are seeking individuals who have worked with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and who have a deep level of understanding of the day to day operations for global procurement, vendor management, benchmarking, and manufacturing planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS WILL INCLUDE

• Working in a global manufacturing environment to assist a Procurement and Manufacturing Planning team with day to day operational tasks, as those tasks relate to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation
• Using a foundational knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics from past engagements to help offer solutions on system configuration and best practices.
• Offering assistance with the end-to-end procure-to-pay lifecycle, operational procurement and manufacturing planning tasks.
• Assisting with vendor change control, QBR and vendor benchmarking in AS/400 and D365.
• Assisting with change management, and coaching / training business users on the benefits of Dynamics 365

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Local to Chicagoland area, willing to work onsite in Schaumburg 4 days / week
• Minimum 5+ years in a Manufacturing Procurement or Manufacturing Planning related role
• Must have Discrete Manufacturing experience
• Must have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (365) experience
