Job description

Are you a Medical Assistant or EMT looking to work for a world-class university healthcare system in the RDU area where you can expand your knowledge? Are you a Medical Assistant or EMT who is looking for a work-life balance where you have every evening and weekend off to spend time with family and friends? We are currently looking to bring on a full-time Medical Assistant or EMT at a growing outpatient specialty clinic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to pick from several different exciting specialties where you can expand your clinical skills and knowledge!

The Medical Assistant or EMT will be performing clinical duties such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Rooming patients and taking vitals and medical history
  • Assisting medical providers and patients as needed
  • Administering medications as ordered by medical provider
  • Set-up, sterilize, and disinfect the room after each patient to clinic's standard
  • Attantain prior authorization for medications and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Nationally Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant or 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • BLS Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED required
