Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors to the clinic with a smile and in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
• Check in patients for office visits, treatments, and labs and inform clinical staff of patient arrival.
• The site typically sees 40-60 patients/day
• Provide and explain paperwork for the patient to complete prior to examination; collect, proof for completeness, and file patient forms; update demographics and insurance information in the system; collect co-pays and balances.
• Answer phones (mostly patient calling to verify time of appointment or reschedule appointment - there is a separate scheduler that handles full appointment scheduling)
• Record patient cancellations and missed appointments; reschedule appointments; notify appropriate staff of the cancellation and make note in patient chart.
• Record call if Clinical Triage is needed and input note in the system so clinical staff knows to contact the patient.
• Provide general administrative support.
• Working with Athena (scheduling system) and iKnowMed G2 (EMR)

*Bilingual Spa/Eng is preffered but not required*

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED

Schedule/ Shift: Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:30pm (45 min lunch)
