Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Responsibilities include managing patient check-in and check-out, answering phone calls, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EPIC system.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive.

• Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.

• Answer and route incoming phone calls; address patient inquiries courteously.

• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments in accordance with office protocols.

• Enter and update patient information and appointment details into the EPIC system.

• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all patient interactions.

• Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable.

• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the office team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or certifications in administration or healthcare (preferred).

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $ 20-25 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week - Mon- Fri 8am-4:30pm

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
