Job Title: Front Desk Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and contribute to creating a positive and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and redirecting calls as necessary.
  • Utilize the practice management system for scheduling, patient check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Verify insurance eligibility to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Manage patient responsibilities, including handling copayments and providing any necessary patient education regarding visits.
  • Perform efficient and courteous check-in and check-out procedures for all patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • While prior authorization duties are minimal, basic familiarity with insurance processes is beneficial.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Experience with a practice management system is preferred.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a significant advantage.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required; if not already completed, it will be administered on the first day of employment.
  • Must be comfortable with patient-facing interactions and adept at maintaining a professional demeanor.
