Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to transport and manage materials within the warehouse and production areas. Your role is crucial in ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished products are moved accurately and on time to support smooth production operations and meet stringent pharmaceutical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished products to designated locations.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of sensitive pharmaceutical materials.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and other equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and operational efficiency.
