Food Services Worker
Job description
A large Hospitals Nutrition Services Department is looking for food service workers to provide support to there retail cafeteria's dish-washing, trayline and cafe operations in Tacoma.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Primarily needed in a dish washing capacity, cleaning trays, loading dishwasher, ect
- Responsibilities vary - primarily responsible for supporting the retail cafeteria specifically - this could include cashiering , acting as a barista, serving, ect
- Preparing meals for both the in-patient and retail cafeterias. casual dining, but need to be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Running Trays to Patient Floors
Shifts:
Candidates need to be able to work both AM/PM Shifts. Below our possible shifts they may be scheduled for. All Schedules are Mon-Fri w/ A rotating weekend day every two weeks
5:00am-1:30p
7:30a-4:00p
9:00a-530p
11:30a-800p
1:00p-9:30p
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
- Food Handler's Card (within 7 days of employment), Barista or Retail Food Experience (1 year +)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred
Soft Skills or Behaviors:
- Reliability - Attendance is a huge component of this role
- Willing to take the initiative - responsibilities can vary so someone is needed who is willing to jump in where needed
