A large hospital in Tacoma is looking to hire Food Service workers to support their fast-paced retail cafeteria.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of food service duties including providing excellent customer service, cashiering, patient meal assembly, menu item prep, and serving of all foods for all areas
• The Food Service worker will assist with dishwashing and cleanliness of the kitchen and food service areas
• Interacts with team members as well as patients, hospital providers, nurses, families, and visitors

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food service experience preferred
• Current State of Washington Food Handlers card (or obtain within 7 days of hire)

• Punctual
• Customer service

Schedule/Shift:

Mobday - Friday (rotating weekends)

5 AM - 1:30 PM (Dishroom)

5 AM - 1:30 PM (Barista/Retail)

7:30 AM - 4 PM (Barista/Retail)

1 PM - 9:30 PM (Dishroom)

Pay:

$16-20 per hour depending on experience

Contract Length:

800 hours (approximately 20 weeks). Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
