PathGroup is seeking an adaptable, quick-thinking Float Phlebotomist for our PSC in Hendersonville, TN. This role requires an individual with strong pediatric phlebotomy skills, as the territory includes a pediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will float to various clinics within the region to provide phlebotomy support when staff are out for sick leave, FMLA, or other absences.

Position Details:

• Home Base: Hendersonville, TN
• Territory: Includes Portland, TN, Mount Juliet, TN, Hermitage, TN, Gallatin, TN, Goodlettsville, TN, and more (up to 60+ miles radius).
• Pay Rate: $18-$22 (based on experience and approval by PathGroup).
• Travel Reimbursement: Mileage, travel expenses, or rental car reimbursement is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float to clinics across the assigned territory.
• Perform high-volume venipunctures (50+ patients/day).
• Work with pediatric patients, including performing finger and heel sticks.
• Maintain flexibility for occasional out-of-state travel. Travel accommodations such as flights, rental cars, and hotels will be provided, or mileage reimbursed if driving.
• Attend mandatory training during the first week in Murfreesboro, TN (M-F, 8-5). Meals and accommodations will be provided if necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of non-plasma phlebotomy experience.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience is required.
• Specimen processing experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Valid car insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Phlebotomist.
