Job description

Job Summary:

You'll be responsible for performing daily phlebotomy activities accurately and on time, under the direction of the area supervisor. You'll also assist with coverage of client locations as needed, requiring travel within a designated region.

You will be potentially be floating to clinics across the territory (typically up to 30-60 miles but can be more) to fill in when staff is out, sick, FMLA (etc.). Covering the San Antonio to Austin areas.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Shift: M-F 8-5

Pay Range: $18-$22 (Basesd on years of experience)

Essential Functions:

  • Ready to travel to client assignments with short notice.
  • Collecting specimens accurately and on time.
  • Explaining procedures to patients and ensuring a calm environment.
  • Disposing of biohazard materials properly.
  • Completing requisitions accurately and entering necessary information into the system.
  • Maintaining records and documentation.
