M-Th, 4:30AM to 3PM, OT available on Fridays

Pay: $34/HR

Contract to Hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED is required. A 2-year technical degree in a scientific discipline is preferred.
  • Must have experience in setting up, troubleshooting, and operating a medical device extrusion line (both free and over core) using typical medical device resins.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manufactures and inspects components for production and R&D according to standard processes and quality specifications to meet daily objectives.
  • Conducts testing and measurement activities.
  • Adheres to all Medical Device Good Documentation Practices.
  • Approaches problem-solving and root cause analysis with a methodical mindset.
  • Operates automated and advanced equipment and tooling.
  • Contributes to identifying quality issues and developing solutions.
  • Reads, follows, and accurately documents written processes, policies, and procedures, including all production device history records (travelers and log forms).
  • May assist in writing or reviewing processes or procedures, identifying and correcting errors.
  • Communicates goals, ideas, concepts, and issues effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Collaborates and interacts positively with colleagues, promoting team objectives through effective communication and problem-solving techniques to identify process, machine, or work area improvements that enhance productivity.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment and supports equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and increased throughput.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
