Job Title: Environmental Service Technician

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805 (onsite)

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Tech to join our team who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our team plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Environmental Service Techs.

• High school diploma or GED

• A passion for working with our Nation's Heroes

• Former military experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered cleaning equipment such as buffing and polishing machines, floor stripping units, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, steam cleaners, burnishers, automatic scrubbers, and carpet shampooing equipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks in rooms, areas, and on items of furniture or equipment, including floors, walls, baseboards, windows, metal fixtures, ceilings, and more.
• Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, including sanitizers, disinfectants, deodorizers, floor strippers, floor finishes, and metal polishes, following specific label directions.
• Make beds, change linens, and collect soiled linens.
• Remove, transport, repackage, dispose, and store general waste, regulated medical waste, chemotherapeutic waste, and radioactive waste.
• Deliver clean linen and supplies as needed.
• Check and replenish consumable supplies such as soap, hand towels, toilet tissue, bottled water, and latex gloves.
• Remove, transport, repackage, dispose, and store sharps, and replace filled sharps containers with empty ones.

Compensation: $15-17 depending on experience

Hours: Day shift

Location: Wilmington, DE 19805 (onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
