Job Title: Healthcare Administrative Specialist (Temporary through March)
Location: Onsite Full-Time
Pay Range: $21 - $23 per hour (plus overtime opportunities)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (availability required until 7:00 pm when needed) + Saturday shifts and regular overtime.
Contract Duration: Temporary through March 2025 with possibility of extension or conversion pending great performance and budget allowance.

Join our dynamic team as a Healthcare Administrative Specialist! This temporary role offers competitive pay, extensive training, and opportunities for overtime. If you excel, there is a potential for contract-to-hire and long-term growth within the organization.
Send correspondence to members or CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) for information gathering and updates.
Review the Transaction Reply Report (TRR) daily.
Submit daily transaction files to CMS.
Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines for enrollments, denials, and rejections.
Log all Outbound Enrollment Verification (OEV) letters in the membership database.
Act as a liaison with Sales Representatives to ensure proper enrollment processing.
Perform data entry for enrollment applications and disenrollments in the system.
Track pending enrollments and follow up on additional information requirements.
Assist with compliance tasks such as Working Aged Survey mailings and Annual Notice of Change Letters.
Submit monthly reports on processed applications, scheduled appointments, and returned mail.
1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative setting.
Experience in a call center, insurance, or medical assistant (MA) role preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology.
Ability to handle high call volumes.
Experience with Medicare guidelines and CMS processes.
