A large Community Healthcare System is looking for an experienced Engagement Center Representative to join their team in Munster, IN.

Please note that this is an onsite opportunity offering room for growth, benefits and PTO.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Inbound & Outbound patient calls to schedule appointments and procedures
• Ensures accurate patient information is collected for pre-registration process
• Obtains and verifies Patient insurance information
• Initiates and coordinates necessary Referrals & Authorizations prior to appointment and procedures
• Provides excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:

• Patient Registration & Insurance Verification experience
• Authorizations experience (preferred)
• Dependable team player
• Self-motivated

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm

Pay: $15-20 per hour (depending on experience)

Length: 480 Hours (approximately 4 months) Contract to Hire*

*Opportunity to convert to direct employment upon successful completion of contract period.

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
