Job Posting: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview:
The Endoscopy RN will rotate between admitting, procedure room, and recovery duties in a high-paced environment. Patient volume ranges from 60-75 per day, with the RN caring for approximately 15-20 patients per day depending on the assigned area. This role requires hands-on patient care, including IV insertion during the admission process and assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures. For candidates without endoscopy experience, training on specific procedures will be provided. There is no phone triage; the role is very hands-on and patient-focused. In the recovery area, the RN will monitor patients post-procedure, address questions, and report any concerns to the attending physician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rotate between admitting, procedure room, and recovery duties.

• Insert IVs during the admission process.

• Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures.

• Monitor patients in recovery, addressing concerns and ensuring their safety.

• Communicate patient updates and concerns with the medical team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current MA RN License.

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience.

• IV insertion experience is required.

• Experience in one of the following areas: Endoscopy, ICU, Telemetry, or Emergency Room/Department.

• Proven ability to work with adult patient populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Endoscopy experience (training will be provided if needed).

• Strong critical thinking and hands-on patient care skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Schedule and Work Environment:

• Full-time position in a fast-paced endoscopy unit.

• Patient volume: 60-75 per day, hands-on care with 15-20 patients daily.

• Rotational duties in admitting, procedure rooms, and recovery areas.

Compensation: $ 45-48 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week - Mon-Fri

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment.
