ED Registrar - Part Time (1st Shift)

Job description

We are looking for an individual with strong registration experience and insurance knowledge with tenured experience in previous positions

Location - onsite in chicago

Salary - $15-$19/hr

Contract to hire role with lots of room for growth

Day to Day:

  • ED Registrars are responsible for checking in patients, verifying demographic information, and getting as much information about the patient's insurance as possible. They will also be doing any pre-collections that they can on the front end. The team typically rotates between doing admitting and registration at the desk and bedside-- they will spend time at the front desk and on the move/walking around the ED. Candidates will be expected to work with urgency and be able to walk around the ED pretty frequently.



Schedule: 1st shift Part time - Hours 6:00a-2:00p Days off- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Training: 4-6 weeks - ER and admissions. Training will be M-F.

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
