ED Registrar

We are looking for an individual with insurance knowledge and 1 years of registration experience

Location - Onsite position in the Chicago Hospital

Salary - $$32,000-$40,000 a year based on prior experience

Contract to hire role with a great hospital in chicago

Shift - 11a-7p Days off- Tuesday and Wednesday

Training: 4-6 weeks - ER and admissions. Training will be M-F and will be during the day. (11am-7pm)

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for checking in patients, verifying demographics and getting as much information about the patient's insurance as possible
Performing pre collections
Rotating between admitting and registration at the desk and bedside
Need to be comfortable working in emergency department and working in fast paced environment
Provide a range of services required to complete the registration activities of scheduled and walk-in patients seeking services in a variety of hospital inpatient, and outpatient settings including but not limited to the emergency room, diagnostic testing and procedures, and admissions to nursing units.
EPIC experience preferred
