Job description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Dental Assistant Diploma
  • CPR

SHIFT: Mon - Fri (5 days/week max; 1-2 Saturdays a month)

PAY: $18.00 - $24.00 (dependent on experience)

MISSION:

Medix is now hiring Dental Assistants for a non-profit community health center dedicated to improving the physical, social, and emotional well-being of the people in the communities we serve.

The Dental Assistant is the liaison between the dentist and the patient. They communicate with the dentist, patient, and the front office staff to ensure that the patient receives satisfactory service and treatment. The Dental Assistant assists the dentist chair side during treatment procedures, performing all assisting duties permitted within the guidelines the California Board of Dental Examiners set forth.
