Dental Assistant

This clinic has 5 providers and hygienist as well as 5 patients rooms. At full capacity, you should expect to accompanied with 4 other dental assistants within the back office.

The dental Assistant stepping into this role will be responsible for supporting a single provider in 1:1 relationship to start. As you become fully trained and this department reaches optimum staffing levels you will float between all of them to provide support. Responsibilities will be primarily in the back office. Dental assistants stepping into this role can expect to perform examinations and conduct prophylaxis, assist with restorative care and extractions, provide chair side assistance to the providers and overall support the dental operations of this clinic.

This is a family practice so the candidate stepping into this role can expect to see both kids and adults. This clinic serves a diverse population of patients and you can expect to see anywhere from 6-10 patients in a given shift.

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

Registered Dental Assistant Through the Washington State DOH, COVID vaccination

Experience with chair side assistantce, EPIC Experience

Communication - they will be dealing with a diverse range of patients and being able to maintain a good line of communication with patients'
