Overview: Medix is hiring for an onsite healthcare billing/customer service specialist in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

• High volume inbound/outbound calls dealing with patient/guarantor billing concerns from patients/guarantors and insurance companies
• Filing grievances & contesting services
• Processing payments and setting up payment arrangements
• Customer service & patient education
• Self pay collection responsibilities

Requirements:

• 2+ years of customer service/healthcare billing experience
• Medical Terminology
• HS Diploma

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Location: Jacksonville, FL - ONSITE role

Compensation: $20/hr-$22/hr depending on experience

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
