Schedule Options

  • Weekend Night Shift: 3x12s, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Fri - Sun)
  • Weekend Day Shift: 3x12s, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Fri - Sun)
  • Weekday Variable Shift: 3x12s, hours may vary between day, evening, or night shifts (Mon - Fri)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans by following physician-prescribed protocols and ensuring patient safety.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform complex CT procedures, including the administration of contrast material under radiologist supervision.
  2. Adjust and control CT scanner settings, selecting proper technical factors such as kVp, slice thickness, and exposure time.
  3. Ensure images meet quality assurance standards, interpreting technical quality and making necessary adjustments.
  4. Assess the patient's size, condition, and age to tailor scanning protocols accordingly.
  5. Communicate with patients in lay terms to explain procedures and maintain their confidence and comfort.
  6. Start IVs, collect lab work, and obtain relevant patient information from Cerner.
  7. Schedule and manage exams from the Cerner imaging queue and update the RIS with exam status.
  8. Perform routine troubleshooting of equipment and address patient inquiries.
  9. Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles for radiation safety.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensure & Certification:

      • ARRT Licensure (or Registry-eligible within 45 days of hire)
      • WA State Radiologic Technologist License
      • BLS Certification (Healthcare Provider)

  • Preferred Experience:

    • 1+ year of CT experience
