Job Title: Credentialing Specialists

Pay Rate: $19-22.00/hr
Location(s): Somerset, NJ

Hours: 8-430p or 9-530p (Training for first week or two will be 730-4pm and then they can adjust to their permanent schedule)

Job type: Contract with opportunity to get converted permanent

Job Description

• Will assist in onboarding physicians, doing their credentialing, clearing them for work within the health system.
• Credentialing Specialists ensure that medical staff members' maintain current credentials and licenses to work legally in their field or specialty. These specialists monitor upcoming renewal dates and work with medical staff to advise them of the required steps to maintain their credentials.

Job qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year(s) revenue cycle/healthcare admin experience
• Computer savvy
• Excel
• Comfortable talking to practitioners
• Candidates with patient accounts, patient access, insurance verification experience, or general revenue cycle experience will do well in this role.
• Computer skills (required)
• Insurance verification experience
