Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

As a Credentialing Specialist, you will...

  • Facilitate provider onboarding efforts including, but not limited to importing data from CVO into systems
  • Review all information for completeness and screen for "red flag" items. Forward red flag items for action
  • Performs timely follow-up with providers on pending applications/information
  • Builds and accurately maintains provider information in various systems
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the status of provider's application
  • Utilizes organizational templates to communicate with providers about the status of their application with the organization

Training:

  • 3-4 week period, virtually

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years credentialing experience, preferably in a managed care setting, hospital, health plan
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with adobe and microsoft office
  • Knowledge of NCQA standards and payer credentialing standards

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: "EMR" System, EPIC (electronic medical record system), computer, internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Can work in any time zone 7AM-9AM start time (Flexible). They also have the option to have overtime and work on Saturday, right now the team is working every other Saturday if you are on specific projects.
