Hiring a Concierge Medical Assistant!

Location: San Juan Capistrano (92675)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with an hour lunch

Pay:

• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant: $24 - $25/hr
• Medical Assistant Diploma: $22 - $23/hr

Overview of Responsibilities:

The Concierge Medical Assistant is responsible for ensuring the best clinical outcomes and service experience for our Concierge patients. Patients experience our Practice from end to end, from scheduling through check-out, and the role of the Medical Assistant is critical to orchestrating every step of their visit:

• Scheduling patient consistent with their requirements
• Ensuring that you've prepared the exam room for what the physician will require for the visit
• Greeting and checking the patient in promptly
• Rooming the patient (including getting their vitals accurately, ensuring demographic data is updated, and incorporating any medical updates into the medical record)
• Providing any support the physician requires during the visit
• Performing back office support including but limited to rooming, vitals, blood draws and injections
• Checking out the patient, including scheduling their next appointment, making any specialist or imaging appointments, or additional needs of the patient

The Medical Assistant is also responsible for managing patient requests that are received by phone, text, or portal, and resolving their needs, with a consistently high level of service.

Coordination with the physician is critical to the ability to deliver great clinical care. Our Medical Assistants understand specific needs of each physician and provide support accordingly.

Experience we are looking for:

• 1 + years of experience as an Medical Assistant
• Blood draws and injections experience
• CMA preferred
