Job description

Location: Howell, NJ

We are currently hiring for compounder positions at a pharma company in Howell, NJ

Shifts: Hiring on all shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compounder to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The Compounder will be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing raw materials according to established formulations and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, measure, and mix raw materials according to specified formulations and batch records.
  • Operate and maintain mixing equipment, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct in-process checks to verify the accuracy of measurements and the quality of ingredients.
  • Record and document all production activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and quality control teams to ensure all products meet specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any production issues or equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmaceutical compounding.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical technology) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
