Job description

Location: Lakewood, NJ

We are currently hiring for a Compounder position at a pharmaceutical company located in Lakewood, NJ.

Pay/Shift times:

  • $26-$28/hr
  • 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)
  • 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm)
  • 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am)

Job Summary:

As a key team member, you will be responsible for overseeing the bulk product batch processing operations, encompassing all process-related and administrative tasks, along with preparing equipment as outlined in Compounder 1.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to manufacturing protocols for processing bulk products, emphasizing accuracy in batch production.
  • Handle and transport drums and equipment weighing more than 50 lbs, and demonstrate the ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform compounding duties as directed by operations management and in areas where expertise allows.
  • Operate processing machinery and execute both manual and automated cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of tanks and equipment.
  • Conduct integrity testing of filters utilizing automated filter integrity test equipment.
EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry; laboratory experience at the secondary education level. Aseptic manufacturing experience preferred.
