Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
Conduct community outreach to educate the public on CalAIM benefits and eligibility.
Set up outreach tables and conduct patient enrollments at health clinics, hospitals, and community events.
Collaborate with local organizations to schedule outreach events and activities.
Drive to various locations, setting up and managing outreach tables and events to enroll individuals in CalAIM.
Complete necessary documentation and follow up with participants to ensure successful enrollment.
Engage with community members in-person and via phone to build rapport and encourage participation.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and patient enrollments.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on CalAIM processes and requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in community health work, patient enrollment, or outreach programs-preferably in a CalAIM or similar healthcare enrollment context.
Community Health Worker (CHW) certification is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate community members.
A proven track record of successful outreach and enrollment efforts.
Must be comfortable working independently, driving to various locations, and managing outreach activities with minimal supervision.
Schedule/ Shift:
Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day
Typical working hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
