Job description

Under the supervision of the Nurse Care Manager, this professional will be focused on referrals, scheduling appointments, filing, abstracting daa and mainting files. They will also assist the nursing staff with patient during exams and prep. Other responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Patient referral documents and pre-certs
  • Assist clinical staff with patient care, testing, vitals, and other assigned duties
  • Work with and analyze patient records
  • Notify Nurse Care Manager of any discrepencies, abnormalcies, inaccurate or interesting material.
  • Input data into EMR
  • Scan lab reports
  • Greet patietns in person and over the phone
  • Working with insurances when scheduling appointments
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
  • Nationally certified
  • 1 year relevant experience
  • GED
  • EMR epxerience
Nice to Have Skills
  • Phlebotomy
  • injections
  • OBGYN experience
