Job description

We are hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our team in the Egg Harbor, NJ area. We are seeking candidates who are professional, reliable, and match the listed qualifications below.

Mon-Fri (4, 10's) + rotating weekends (once a month on Saturdays)

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay: $18-23/hr

Available Location(s): Egg Harbor, NJ

Department: Pediatrics

Overview

  • Perform tasks beyond rooming patients, including:
    • Running flu and strep swabs
    • Measuring height and weight
    • Taking vitals
    • Administering vaccines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and their families in a tight-knit community
  • Conduct 70% clinical duties and 30% clerical duties, including:
    • Patient check-in
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Collecting co-pays
    • Running insurance verifications
  • Handle a busy practice environment, generally seeing 3 patients per hour

Requirements:

  • MA school diploma - required
  • CMA national cert - required
  • No job hoppiness
  • Pediatrics experience highly preferred
