Clinical Technician

Medix is currently hiring Clinical Technicians with a physician's office near the Woodlands area. Great opportunity to get into healthcare within a new specialty!

If you have at least a year within a fast paced, high volume healthcare setting APPLY TODAY!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Obtains patient history to include chief complaint
• Performing opening and closing duties; inventory count, prepping drugs as needed,
• Maintains back up levels of supply stock in exam and procedure rooms.
• Provides back-up to the ophthalmic photographer performing OCT's
• Occasionally assists physician with laser procedures, injections, and minor procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in either a fast paced environment OR a medical setting
• CPR certified
• High School Diploma

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-6:30pm (need to be flexible between these hours; based on the patient volume per day)
