Room patients and complete vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements.

You are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.
The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Take vital signs and document findings in the patient record
• Review annual wellness questionnaire with appropriate patients
• Administer immunizations
• Monitor messages and relay clinician responses via phone calls
• Enter orders for laboratory services

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT) OR
• Current LPN (MN and WI license required) OR
• Graduate of an accredited EMT program plus current EMT license (national and Minnesota)
