Job description

Role Overview

  • Position Titles: Blinded and Unblinded Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs)
  • Reason for Openings:
    • Vaccine trials are starting soon, and there's a need to onboard temporary staff quickly.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Tasks may include:
    • Consenting participants.
    • Conducting patient visits.
    • Reviewing medical history.
    • Collecting medications.
    • Managing screening or follow-up visits.

Qualifications

  • Preferred:
    • CRC experience is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Alternative Backgrounds:
    • Candidates with medical backgrounds (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT) and basic medical terminology knowledge can be trained if sharp and adaptable.

Logistics

  • Team Size: Varies
  • Culture: Collaborative and adaptable.
  • Training: Provided on-site.
  • Duration:
    • Initial contract for 2 months.
    • Potential for extension or long-term opportunities based on performance.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional early or late hours as needed.
  • Pay Range:
    • $23-$25/hour for non-CRC candidates.
    • Candidates outside the pay range (higher or lower) can still be submitted for consideration.

Candidate Criteria

3-5 Must-Haves:

  1. Basic medical terminology knowledge.
  2. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new responsibilities.
  3. Relevant medical background (e.g., MA, CNA, EMT) if CRC experience is lacking.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Phlebotomy and specimen processing experience
  • Prior CRC experience.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments.
