Job description

Title: Clinical Partner / Medical Assistant
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Job Type: Full-Time & Long-Term

Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Clinical Partner / Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Kalamazoo, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to both patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a smooth clinical workflow and high-quality patient care. Day to Day:

  • Take patient vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations.
  • Work alongside healthcare providers during exams and procedures, assist with preparing medical instruments, and support patient care during treatments.
  • Manage patient scheduling, intake, processing referrals, and maintain accurate patient records using our EHR system.
  • Educate patients on their conditions, medications, and preventive care to enhance their health literacy.
  • Collect lab specimens, process tests, and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Equipment & Sterilization: Ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use.
  • Assist other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and administrative teams.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant Diploma required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) preferred.
  • Active BLS Certification.

Shift:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday with possible occasional weekends based on clinic needs.
