Requirements

Summary: The Clinical Director will play a critical role in the key to success of the SRTF by providing leadership, coordination, mentorship and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary team(s) and/or program(s). This individual will also support the Program Administrator with quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

As a Clinical Director, you will...

  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff members.
  • Providing clinical oversight for the operations of the facility.
  • Quality assurance for the documentation and operations of the program and performing quarterly audits to ensure State/County guidelines are met.
  • Being "hands on" with staff while on site - should be a combination of being in the office and administrative responsibilities and being present on the floor to provide clinical care and mentor staff.
  • Support a Secured Residential Treatment Facility (SRTF) that serves 16 patients with mental illness, ages 18+
  • Maintain updated knowledge on State Hospital and other secured facilities as it relates to the community-based program.
  • Report directly to the Program Administrator and work alongside the Nursing Coordinator.
  • Oversight of all clinical staff - BA/MA level clinicians and peer counselors.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Active and Licensed LCSW, LMFT, or LPC - State of OR

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic office equipment such as: "EMR" (electronic medical record system), computer, internet, email, copy and fax machines, and telephone.

Schedule:

  • The facility is operating 24/7 and staff are consistently present - willing to come in outside of normal business hours
  • Has autonomy to create own schedule and change week to week - but facetime with staff on each shift is important (day, swing, graveyard)
