Clinical Assistant

Medix is hiring for Clinical Assistants for an eye clinic in the KS / KC areas!

*Entry Level*

Job Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Assistant you will be responsible for calling patients into room for appointments and recording patient information.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Perform compliant and complete patient work up in a timely manner.
• Perform vision and pressure checks and administer eye drops (training provided).
• Communicate and work cooperatively with patients, physicians, and personnel.
• Support imaging team as needed with patient testing.
• Train new hires.
• Assist with other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation that allows employee to work in multiple work locations.
• Desire to gain experience in a professional medical setting.
• High level of professionalism.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel between clinic locations is required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7a-6p (8 hour shifts within that timeframe)
