ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a Manager to oversee a Clinical Applications Team. This opportunity is an 18-month consulting role: our client is moving to a new standardized EHR platform, and this role will be managing the Clinical Analysts who handle all Legacy Clinical Applications - like eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Athena, Harris Flex, PulseCheck, ModMed, iCare, etc, which the health system plans to sunset in Summer 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the day to day operations for a 10-person (hybrid and remote) Clinical Applications Team
• Holding weekly 1x1 meetings with team members to review personnel development, performance, challenges, etc.
• Leading daily huddles to go over projects, tasks, and the backlog of issues
• Managing dependencies between external vendors, the PMO, Service Delivery and IT Infrastructure teams to resolve application issues in a timely manner
• Escalating and closing the loop on any Clinical Applications issues/concerns/delays in support
• Providing clear and regular communication to leadership

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Required Bachelor Degree in an IT or Healthcare related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience working with Clinical Applications such as: eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Athena, Harris Flex, PulseCheck, ModMed, iCare, etc.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader / Team Manager
• Strong personnel leadership and development skills
• Excellent communication abilities

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• 100% Remote - EST hours
• Occasional travel to New York may be required
• Talent must be able to work directly for Medix on a W2 or 1099 basis, without the need for visa sponsorship.
