Job description

Title: Clinic Support Specialist
Hours: Monday - Friday - varying shifts
Pay: $18-$33+/h DOE and Role
Requirements: Active MN EMT license or Medical Assisting diploma or LPN and active BLS
Location: Based on preference, multiple options open thought twin cities

Job Description:

Room patients and complete vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements.
Administer medication and clinical procedures according to authorized policy and documented according to policy
Review charts for the presence of pertinent information relevant to the patients appointment. This may include Prepared Practice work as developed by the team.
Provide and document any needed and requested health educational materials to the patient.
Handle patient and their records in a private and confidential manner per policy.
Seek medical and/or nursing assistance when encountering an acutely ill patient or a patient with a changing condition.
Prepare exam rooms and treatment rooms and set up for procedures. Assist provider as needed.
Prepare the patient for medical interventions.
Prepare charts and records for appointments as indicated by the type of clinic visit according to established practices.
