Medix is looking for a Clinical Support Assistant (Entry Level) for a clinic!

Overview:

Looking for an entry level Clinical Assistant to join a team of professionals in providing excellent patient care in a clinic. This is a great opportunity to work in a team environment and work one-on-one with patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. On-the-job training provided (no experience needed)!

Responsibilities:

• Call patients into the room for appointments.
• Record patient information using electronic medical record system (EMR).
• Perform compliant and complete patient work up in a timely manner.
• Perform vision and pressure checks and administer eye drops (training provided).
• Communicate and work cooperatively with patients, physicians, and personnel.
• Support imaging team as needed with patient testing.
• Train new hires.
• Assist with other responsibilities as required.

• Lenexa, KS
• Lee's Summit, MO
• Kansas City, MO

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8 hour shifts btwn 7a-6p)

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation that allows employees to work in multiple work locations.
• Desire to gain experience in a professional medical setting.
• High level of professionalism.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goals.
• Medical experience preferred but not required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the sciences or related medical field preferred but not required.
• Some flexibility to the daily schedule is required.
• Travel between clinic locations is required (mileage reimbursement provided).
