Medix is hiring for a Clinic Registered Nurse in the Florissant area! This is an onsite, full time opportunity to be able to work in a clinic settings with business hours! Role Overview:

• Obtains and documents patients chief complaint/reason for visit, nursing history and physical assessment and obtains and documents vital signs
• Completes and documents screenings appropriately: tobacco, alcohol, recreational drugs, fall risk, PHQ-9
• Observes patient and reports adverse reactions to medications or treatment
• Provides and documents medications as ordered by the provider and administered during the encounter
• Reviews chart alerts and recommends appropriate referrals
• Initiates patient education according to the individual needs of the patient and gaps in care
• Develops care plans to meet identified health problem, evaluates and modifies the plan of care
• Records in the electronic health record the disposition of missed appointments, no show appointments, patients that left without being seen and then initiates tracking
• Explains procedures and treatments in accordance with scope of practice
• Assists provider with physical exams as needed, including pelvic exams, pap smears, and more!

Location: Florissant, MO 63033

Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00

Pay: $27-45/hr

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Active RN Licensure
• Ability to be on feet all day working as a floor RN
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
